SR-5 SYNTHETIC RACING OILS

Developed under the most severe racing conditions, Torco SR-5 offers the highest level of performance and protection for highly modified race engines. SR-5 utilizes Group IV/V synthetic base oil chemistries and additive technologies engineered to with stand extreme loads, constant severe temperatures and maximum engine revolutions. TBO PREMIUM BREAK-IN OILS 
Torco TBO Premium Break-in Oil is a blend of hydro-processed petroleum base stocks that clean and prepare new surfaces. Since the first start up of a new engine is critical to its life expectancy, TBO utilizes specially selected additives in order to protect vital race engine parts during the first startup. TBO cleansing agents “scrub down” any contaminants left in new engines from the production process and assure good cleansing of freshly machined parts. Using protective anti-wear chemistry allows mating surfaces to gently make contact during first new startup. Torco TBO provides the proper film for new bearing protection and is made to withstand viscosity break down in order to maintain good strong parts separation films. This oil can also be used as a consistent monitor control oil or "reference oil" for engine studies using an engine dynamometer. Torco TBO contains a high percentage of “Zinc” anti-wear chemistry for proper valve train and new cam break-in protection.

SGO SYNTHETIC RACING GEAR OILS

ZEP ZINC ADDITIVE

Modern motor oils meeting API SL and specifically category SM do not contain enough zinc additive to assure proper anti-wear protection of high performance engines. The addition of ZEP to any modern motor oil will put back the proper amount of Zinc Dialkyl-Dithiophosphate (ZDDP) purposely taken out to be catalytic converter friendly. ZEP coats all engine parts and won’t rub, scrape or scrub off so that it protects engines that are occasionally used from “dry starts”, a leading cause of premature engine wear of vehicles kept in storage. One 12oz. bottle treats 6 quarts or liters of motor oil.

LIMITED SLIP ADDITIVE 

Torco Limited Slip Additives are formulated for use in limited-slip and posi-traction differentials to reduce hypoid gear noise and chatter. The formulation of Torco Limited Slip Additives modify clutch plate friction for applying and releasing clutch plates.
